Following their match at the Full Gear pay-per-view on Saturday, November 19, it was announced that Death Triangle and The Elite will face off at least three more times as they clash in a Best of Seven series for the AEW World Trios Championships, with Full Gear being the first contest.

Death Triangle emerged victorious in The Elite's return at Full Gear and currently hold a 1-0 lead in the series. The next match will take place on this week's episode of Dynamite from Chicago's Wintrust Arena before a third match on November 30 in Indianapolis. The fourth match will then take place at Winter is Coming on December 14 and the series will continue if need be until January 11.

There was confusion over the Best of Seven series, though, as some believed the AEW World Trios Titles would be up for grabs in every match. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that won't be the case, however, and the champions will be whoever emerges victorious from the Best of Seven series, as opposed to AEW playing hot potato with the belts.

Two titles will be on the line on this week's episode of Dynamite as Chris Jericho defends the ROH World Championship against Tomohiro Ishii, while Orange Cassidy faces Jake Hager for the AEW All-Atlantic Title.
