Report: CM Punk To Remain In AEW Fight Forever

CM Punk will still be in AEW Fight Forever

While CM Punk might not be a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster for much longer, The Second City Saviour will reportedly remain in AEW Fight Forever, the promotion's console video game.

Taking to Twitter, Sportskeeda Wrestling reported that AEW have confirmed CM Punk will still be in the video game.

"#AEW has confirmed to Sportskeeda exclusively that #CMPunk HAS NOT been removed from their upcoming Fight Forever game," Sportskeeda wrote.

Punk had been AEW's top star but he is currently suspended from the company after his backstage fight with Ace Steel and The Elite following September's All Out pay-per-view. Punk is reportedly in negotiations with AEW over a contract buyout but there is a hold-up on the AEW side. The 44-year-old is ready to move on from AEW to his next project.

No release date has been announced for AEW Fight Forever. Punk was set to be on the cover of the game but was removed in November, with Kenny Omega now front and centre. The Best Bout Machine is surrounded by Hangman Page, Britt Baker, Sting, Chris Jericho, MJF, Jade Cargill, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Orange Cassidy.

AEW Fight Forever will be released on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
