Report: Cody Rhodes Training At WWE Performance Center Ahead Of Return
Cody was spotted at the WWE PC as anticipation for his impending return grows
WWE star Cody Rhodes has stepped up his efforts as he makes his way back from injury, according to a recent report.
Fightful Select reported that 'The American Nightmare' was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center, as he works to get clearance for an in-ring return.
Sources close to the situation confirmed to Fightful that Rhodes was working at the PC in late December. It added that his personal bus was spied within the vicinity of the building and that Cody was joined by members of his family and team.
Further to that, it was noted that Rhodes was able to select who helped him as he prepares for his return. Rhodes hand-picked NXT stars Carmelo Hayes and Joe Gacy to assist him.
Cody has been out of action since tearing his pectoral muscle in the summer. WWE have recently started hyping his impending return by showing a series of inspirational vignettes on television.
The former Intercontinental Champion is one of the favourites to win the Royal Rumble, though his official return date has not yet been announced.
