The 2026 SummerSlam PLE is fast approaching, taking place at the start of next month across both August 1 and August 2 as WWE takes over the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Big matches and names have already been announced for the show, but that hasn’t halted some internal concern from within WWE.
According to a report from WrestleVotes on X, the low SummerSlam ticket sales have been a point of discussion inside WWE, being described as “a hot topic in Stamford over the past month or so.” It is noted that this isn’t a new worry or realisation, with it being an internal concern in the company for weeks at this point.
This comes after WrestleTix issued the latest update on SummerSlam’s ticket sales, which sees 22,069 tickets distributed for SummerSlam Saturday and 23,908 for SummerSlam Sunday. The US Bank Stadium has a capacity that can reach up to between 66,000 and 72,000 approximately. WWE have announced several blockbuster main events for SummerSlam 2026 including Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title, a Hell In A Cell clash between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar, and most recently a clash between Cody Rhodes and CM Punk for the WWE Championship.
