Report: Dana Warrior Among WWE Layoffs

Dana Warrior is among the 100+ WWE layoffs

Following the WWE/UFC merger, it was expected that WWE would see a wave of mass layoffs, and that is exactly what has happened. Over the past 24 hours, upwards of 100 individuals have been let go from the company, with no signs of this stopping.

One of the more notable names to have been let go is Dana Warrior, which was reported by PWInsider. She was the wife of the late Ultimate Warrior. She worked in the community outreach department for WWE after previously being part of the writing team, and she was seen often at the Hall of Fame ceremony as she presented the “Warrior Award” each year. It isn’t clear if she will continue in this latter role as the years go on.

More names have continued to emerge too as departing WWE, with these including the EVP Of Development & Digital Jamie Horowitz, EVP/Head Of Marketing Catherine Newman, and Director of Enterprise Master Data & Governance Amanda Bloom. Further reports from PWInsider have revealed that over 100 people have been laid off, with departments such as WWE Network, Podcasting, Marketing have been hit the hardest.
