Report: Dante Martin Suffers Injury On AEW Dynamite

Dante Martin believed to have been injured on July 27 AEW Dynamite

The AEW Summer 2022 injury curse continues, as Dante Martin is the latest AEW talent to seemingly pick up an in-ring injury.

As seen on the July 27 edition of Dynamite, Martin took on Sammy Guevara in a high-flying effort, and was noticeably limping towards the climax of the match, before landing awkwardly from a springboard Sammy cutter at the climax of the match.

A report from PWInsider states that the Top Flight star was spotted on crutches afterwards at the talent hotel, and it’s believed he has injured his knee, although there is no word on the severity of the injury at the time of writing.

Over the course of the Summer, AEW has seen frequent injuries plague the roster, with the likes of Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and CM Punk all taking time out from in-ring competition. For Martin, hope is that the young high-flyer won’t miss too much if any time away from the ring, with his brother Darius Martin having been plagued by injuries for most of the past year.
