Report: Darby Allin Suffered A Concussion On AEW: Dynamite

He's scheduled to be in action next week...

On this week's episode of AEW: Dynamite, Taz and Brian Cage made their way to the ring and cut a promo on last week's AEW World Championship match. The Human Suplex Machine confirmed he threw in the towel because he didn't want his client to tear his bicep a second time.

Before Taz could finish, Darby Allin headed to the ring but he was suddenly attacked from behind by Ricky Starks which caused The Invisible Man's head to smash against the top rope. Cage proceeded to Powerbomb Darby twice and Starks followed up with a Double Underhook Facebuster.

Allin appeared to be injured during the segment and Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the AEW star had suffered a concussion. Despite the injury, Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he had been told Darby will still be in action next week. He is currently booked to team with Jon Moxley against Cage and Starks in a Texas Tornado match.
