Report: Date Of 2023 WWE Draft Revealed

More on the upcoming WWE Draft

While not much was expected from his appearance on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 39, Triple H made a major announcement, revealing the 2023 WWE Draft will take place "in a few weeks" and every single WWE talent will be eligible to be drafted, hinting that NXT wrestlers could make their way to the main roster in the coming weeks. 

No official date has been announced for the draft but WRKD Wrestling has reported the WWE Draft is currently pencilled in for the May 8 edition of Monday Night Raw in Jacksonville, Florida.

"The current planned date for the upcoming WWE Draft is May 8th in Jacksonville, Florida," WRKD Wrestling tweeted.

The show will be the post-Backlash episode of Raw. WWE's first pay-per-view since WrestleMania 39 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 6 in Puerto Rico. No matches have been announced as of yet but teased for the show is Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest vs. Rey Mysterio & Bad Bunny, and Rhea Ripley vs. Zelina Vega for the SmackDown Women's Title.
