Report: Dave Meltzer To Be A Playable Character In Upcoming Pro Wrestling Video Game

Dave Meltzer is coming to a video game near you!

According to WrestlingNews.co, Dave Meltzer, Bryan Alvarez, and Big Vinny V will all be playable characters in the WrestleQuest video game. The title is set to be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Netflix on Tuesday, August 8.

Meltzer is famous as the man behind the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while Bryan Alvarez is the host of Wrestling Observer Live and Wrestling Observer Radio, among other podcasts on F4W Online. Big Vinny V also appears on Wrestling Observer podcasts.

WrestleQuest is a turn-based RPG inspired by professional wrestling that will see Randy "Muchacho Man" Santos crawl his way through seedy underground wrestling federations as he looks to become a world champion like his idol Randy Savage. The game is in development at Mega Cat Studios and will feature the likes of Jeff Jarrett, Andre the Giant, and Jake Roberts.
