Report: Dexter Lumis Waiting For Creative From WWE

While several WWE talents, including Liv Morgan and Kevin Owens, are currently out of action with injuries, the same situation doesn't apply to Dexter Lumis.

The Way member hasn't appeared on Monday Night Raw in person since he was involved in a Battle Royal to earn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship back on May 15 and he hasn't wrestled on any WWE programming since he defeated Akira Tozawa on the June 1 episode of WWE Main Event. 

Lumis' absence fuelled speculation that he could be dealing with an injury but that isn't the case, with Fightful Select reporting that Lumis is fine and he is simply off TV "waiting on creative" from the company. Lumis' absence could be tied to Johnny Gargano, with his Way stablemate also off TV outside of vignettes since mid-May. Gargano had been dealing with shoulder issues but that is believed to be no longer the case and rumours have tipped Gargano to reform #DIY with Tommaso Ciampa at some point in the near future.

Lumis is currently in his second run with WWE, having returned to the company in the summer of 2022 as one of Triple H's first signings following his promotion to Chief Content Officer.
