Report: Drew McIntyre Unhappy With WWE Amidst Potential New Deal

Drew McIntyre Is Reportedly Unhappy With WWE Over "Creative And Money" Issues

There has been a lot of talk when it comes to Drew McIntyre over the last few days. After reports emerged of an expiring contract, and due to the fact that he was pulled from SmackDown, there was some speculation that these things were connected.

It seems as though a health scare kept McIntyre from SmackDown, but more news has emerged on the issue of a new contract. A report from Wade Keller of PWTorch has given more insight, signalling that McIntyre may be unhappy with WWE when it comes to a new deal;

“We alluded to this that there's been talk that he is unhappy with his current situation in WWE and I'm hearing it's kind of a mix of creative and money and what kind of offer he's getting for a renewal. It sounds like WWE is taking seriously the possibility that he is going to let his deal run out rather than agree to something that he believes is less than he deserves or less than what he thinks he has coming.”

The report goes on to note that McIntyre’s health is an accurate reason as to why he was off the show after being “beat up” from his WrestleMania 39 match with Gunther and Sheamus for the Intercontinental Championship.
