Earlier in the month, reports noted WWE had purchased EVOLVE Wrestling and it's extensive tape library. The two parties had reportedly been in negotiations for several months and the wrestling behemoth now owns the rights to the EVOLVE brand.

EVOLVE shows were expected to be added to the WWE Network down the line and WrestleVotes reported yesterday that events from the promotion will be available on the streaming service by the end of 2020. They won't be the only independent wrestling promotion making their way to the network as WrestleVotes also noted content from Germany's Westside Xtreme Wrestling will be available later this year.

WrestleVotes tweeted: "Source states both Evolve & wXw will be coming to the WWE Network before the end of 2020."

Whether or not the content will be added to the free tier of the WWE Network is currently unknown, but the company has talked about adding indie promotions to the streaming service for some time and has previously held discussions with British company Insane Championship Wrestling
