Report: Finish Of AEW Revolution Match Changed Multiple Times

Changes before Revolution

All Elite Wrestling held their latest pay-per-view on Sunday, March 6, and Revolution was broadcast from Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

The show featured several major matches including MJF vs. CM Punk, Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston, and Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole.

Britt Baker also defended the AEW Women's World Title against Thunder Rosa and The Good Doctor managed to pick up the win with a second Curb Stomp after Rosa dealt with interference from Rebel and Jamie Hayter.

This seemingly wasn't the original finish, though. Fightful Select have reported that the finish of the AEW Women's World Title match was changed "multiple times" in the weeks leading to Revolution. There is no word on why the finish changed so much but Fightful noted, "the company is clearly setting up a rematch for the St. Patrick's Day Slam show in Thunder Rosa's hometown in a couple of weeks."

A new AEW Women's World Championship belt was also unveiled at Revolution. The belt was produced in only three weeks and it was inspired by the Mid South North American Championship belt.
