Report: Former IMPACT World Champion's Contract Expiring Soon

A former IMPACT World Champion could exit the company after their contract expires

Several major stars have left IMPACT Wrestling over the last few years - usually getting  written off TV in a horrific manner as a result - and it’s possible that a former IMPACT World Champion could be set to exit the company to with the expiration of their current deal reportedly on the horizon.

Per a report from Fightful Select, Moose could be on his way out of IMPACT when his deal expires this month (June 2023). IMPACT signed Moose to a lucrative contract extension in 2021 in order to prevent Moose from entering the free agent’s market, subsequently heavily featuring and pushing Moose as the top heel of the men’s division.

WWE have previously held an interest in signing the former NFL offensive tackle, and it remains to be seen if he ends up in WWE should he exit IMPACT at the expiration of his contract.

Moose has been with IMPACT/TNA since 2016, and is a one-time IMPACT World Champion, two-time IMPACT Grand Champion, and was the self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion in 2020.
