Report: Men's WWE Money In The Bank Winner Discussed 'Months Ago’

WWE could have had the winner of the men’s Money in the Bank match in mind for months

WWE are firmly on the road to Money in the Bank, with the next ‘premium live event’ on WWE’s calendar set for London’s O2 on July 1.

Tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown (June 2 2023) is set to feature the next qualifying match for the men’s Money in the Bank match, and a report from FightFans suggests that the winner of the briefcase has been discussed internally within WWE ‘for months’.

Indeed, LA Knight is said to be the out-and-out favourite to win the briefcase, with FightFans' source stating that:

“Barring any changes, as of right now Knight is still considered #1 choice internally right now. Always heard it will be a cash in on Rollins, whenever it does happen. So I’d be VERY shocked if Knight loses tonight [against Montez Ford], I heard in August last year it would be Knight, so we’ll see what happens. Hopefully they don’t decide to go another route, because discussions on having him win it have been going on for months internally.”

A former IMPACT World Champion and Million Dollar Title holder in WWE, LA Knight has become one of the most over stars in all of WWE in recent months.
