Report: Former NXT Star Spotted At WWE Performance Center

A former NXT Tag Team Champion no less

A former NXT star is reportedly working in WWE this week.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Biff Busick (AKA Oney Lorcan) is at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida working as a Guest Coach at the training facility. If WWE plan to sign him as a coach on a full-time deal is unknown.

The 36-year-old signed with WWE as an in-ring talent back in 2015 and he remained with the company, competing on the NXT brand, until his release in November of 2021 as part of a round of roster cuts.

Lorcan is a former NXT Tag Team Champion, having held the gold with Danny Burch between October 2020 and March 2021. They were forced to vacate the titles due to an injury to Lorcan.

Following his WWE release, Lorcan returned to independent wrestling, competing as Biff Busick once again for the likes of GCW, PWG, and Beyond Wrestling. He announced in July, though, that he would be taking some time away from performing in the ring.
