Report: "Former WWE Champion" In The Works To Appear At Day 1
A former WWE Champion could be appearing at WWE RAW: Day 1
WWE is hosting a special “Day 1” edition of Monday Night RAW next week to celebrate the new year and kick off 2024 with a bang. The show is set to feature some big title matches such as Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Title and Rhea Ripley vs. Ivy Nile for the WWE Women’s World Championship, and it also looks as though a surprise might be in store for fans.
Fightful Select have reported that a “former WWE Champion” is in the works to appear on RAW, with the wording implying that it is someone not currently in the company. Following this report, Triple H took to X to all but confirm these reports, telling fans to stay tuned.
“Not going to confirm or deny the rumors of a former @WWE Champion appearing at #WWERaw Day One… but I will say to stay tuned.”
There is no word yet on who this mystery “former WWE Champion” is, and whether or not they are a retired or active talent.
