Report: Former WWE Champion's AEW Debut Under Discussion For All In

No, it's not Hulk Hogan

A former WWE Champion could be set to make their All Elite Wrestling debut at All In.

According to Fightful Select, there have been discussions within AEW about bringing in Rob Van Dam and one of the ideas mentioned would be for RVD to go one-on-one with Jack Perry at All In or All Out. Discussions of bringing RVD in come after Jack Perry captured the FTW Title from HOOK and the former Jungle Boy has taken aim at Taz and ECW, with a face-to-face with Jerry Lynn booked for tonight's 200th episode of AEW Dynamite.

RVD has had lengthy runs in ECW, WWE, and IMPACT Wrestling during his long career. He hasn't competed on TV since he departed IMPACT in 2020, however, and he has only had 15 matches since then, primarily performing on the independent wrestling scene in the United States. He has also had sporadic matches in the United Kingdom and Ireland, along with one match in Pro Wrestling NOAH that saw him team with fellow ECW alumni Masato Tanaka to defeat Nosawa RONGAI and Super Crazy.

All In will be one of the biggest events in pro wrestling history and the show is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 27 at London's Wembley Stadium. Over 77,000 tickets have been sold for the show.
