Here comes the money...
Jul 3, 2019
There is a report circulating at the moment claiming those at Fox want President Donald Trump to appear on SmackDown Live following the show's move to the network at the start of October.
Tom Colohue
from SportsKeeda appears to be saying that people at Fox have floated the idea of Trump appearing on the new SmackDown around: "There are multiple mentions of 'talking to Vince' and asking him to 'make the call'," his report states.
"At this time there is no evidence that Trump himself has been approached, though FOX staff seem confident that both WWE and the President will "understand the potential benefits to all parties," Colohue's report continues.
Colohue's report then appears to have a direct quote from "at least one member of the WWE creative team": "FOX have asked for Trump so I'm trying to write something short and easy for him that makes him look good. Vince doesn't like us to say anything bad about Trump so I'm just doing the best I can."
Trump has history with WWE, housing both WrestleManias 4 and 5 at Trump Plaza before appearing in the Battle of the Billionaires at 'Mania 23.
