Report: Frankie Kazarian At IMPACT Tapings

Is the former X Division Champion back in the IMPACT Zone?

After the events of IMPACT Slammiversary this past weekend, it seems like the entire landscape of the company is changing. The Elite asserted their dominance over the company, with Kenny Omega retaining the IMPACT World Title, and The Good Brothers bringing home the IMPACT World Tag Titles, whilst Bullet Club leader Switchblade Jay White made his way to the IMPACT Zone for reasons that are so far unclear.

Now, according to a report from Fightful Select, the AEW contingent working in IMPACT is set to expand, with former X Division Champion and inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champion Frankie Kazarian backstage at the latest round of IMPACT Wrestling tapings.

The report also states that Kazarian is slated for the second set of IMPACT tapings this week as well.

There’s no word on what Kaz is doing back in the IMPACT Zone, but one can assume it’s to continue his ‘Elite Hunter’ gimmick, especially after The GBs picked up the tag titles.

As a former member of Bullet Club - albeit working as a double agent for Christopher Daniels - it’ll be interesting if Kaz inserts himself into Jay White and Kenny Omega’s business too.
