Mickie James To Appear On IMPACT This Week

The former Knockouts Champion returned at Slammiversary

As seen at this past weekend’s IMPACT Slammiversary 2021 PPV, a number of wrestlers made surprise appearances, including former Knockouts World Champion and current NWA star Mickie James.

James appeared after Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo’s successful defence against NWA’s Thunder Rosa, and had a face-off with the champ.

Now, IMPACT have confirmed that James will be appearing on this week’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling, with the promotion’s official Twitter page Tweeting a video of James and Knockouts producer Gail Kim talking backstage.

Kim said whilst it was good to see James again, she can’t just barge back into IMPACT and attack the champ, with James saying she’ll ‘put it right’ on Thursday’s IMPACT.

James is currently working with NWA, notably as an executive producer for the all women’s Empowerrr PPV. In fact, James claimed in kayfabe that she was at IMPACT to offer Purrazzo a spot at the show, before The Virtuosa insulted Mickie, and ate a Mick-kick for her troubles.
