Report: Free Agent Was Backstage At AEW Collision

AEW reportedly had a free agent backstage at the latest Collision

All Elite Wrestling aired their latest episode of Collision on July 29, with reports suggesting that a free agent was backstage for the show.

Per a report from Fightful Select, former MLW star Richard Holliday was backstage at Collision, with Holliday recently finding himself as a free agent after a successful return from battling stage four Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Holliday is said to live in Connecticut and was nearby for Collision. Whilst the nature of his visit is as yet unknown, it is worth noting that he is close with MJF, with the two teaming together with Alex Hammerstone as The Dynasty in MLW in 2019, with MJF and Holliday having a reign as MLW World Tag Team Champions.

The former IWA World Heavyweight Champion is reportedly on WWE’s radar, and it remains to be seen if WWE will spring into action to snap up Holliday before AEW have the chance, despite being in the midst of a soft hiring freeze since their buy-out by Endeavor was confirmed.
