Report: Further Sign Brian Pillman Jr. Could Be WWE-Bound

Brian Pillman Jr. had been a part of All Elite Wrestling but the former Varsity Blonde departed the promotion when his contract expired earlier this year, with reports noting that Pillman was informed by AEW that his deal would not be renewed. 

It was initially noted there was interest from WWE in Pillman and the second-generation talent was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida a couple of weeks ago for a tryout. The latest reports have claimed that a deal for Pillman to sign with WWE is either already in place or is in the process of being finalised. Pillman is expected to move to Orlando and report to the WWE Performance Center full-time by the end of August. 

In a further sign that Pillman might be WWE-bound, Fightful Select has claimed the former AEW star has cancelled a planned training camp that was set to begin in September. 

Pillman recently teased that he has some big news to reveal on the horizon. 

Flyin' Brian's final AEW matches took place back in May as part of the promotion's House Rules tour. He has continued to perform on the independent wrestling scene in recent weeks.
