Goldberg may no longer be planned for the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw from Atlanta's State Farm Arena.

Reports in early January had noted that Goldberg was scheduled to make his return to WWE on the January 27 edition of Raw. Goldberg has a strong connection to Atlanta, having played for the Atlanta Falcons. He was also a star of the Atlanta-based WCW and won the WCW World Heavyweight Champion at the Georgia Dome in 1998.

In an update, however, Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda has claimed that Goldberg is not scheduled for Raw in Atlanta.

"I've been informed that Bill Goldberg is not scheduled to appear on #WWERaw this coming Monday and is not in any creative plans for the show," Featherstone tweeted.

Goldberg last appeared on WWE TV at Bad Blood 2024, a pay-per-view which emanated from State Farm Arena. Goldberg teased a future match with Gunther at the event and the WWE Hall of Famer has previously announced he will have his retirement match in 2025.

Goldberg has not wrestled since a loss to Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022.
