Report: Grayson Waller Never Planned For WWE Raw Appearance

A conflicting report on Grayson Waller's status for the March 20 edition of Monday Night Raw has emerged. 

According to reports from GiveMeSport and WRKD Wrestling ahead of this week's Raw, Grayson Waller was scheduled to appear on the show to continue the build to his match with Johnny Gargano at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 1. Waller did not appear on Raw, however, and Gargano instead suffered a loss to Dominik Mysterio on the latest edition of the red brand. 

Waller's only presence on Raw was in a video package that recapped him beating down Johnny Gargano outside of Johnny Wrestling's home. 

In an update, Fightful Select have reported that Grayson Waller was never scheduled to appear on Monday Night Raw. Waller was reportedly not brought in for the show, nor was he set to be involved in creative plans. The first WWE creative heard about Waller potentially appearing on Raw was when they were asked if the rumours were true.

Following the events on this week's edition of NXT, Waller and Johnny Gargano look set to clash in an Unsanctioned Match at Stand & Deliver. Vic Joseph will sign the contract on Gargano's behalf next week as the former NXT Champion has agreed to be banned from the WWE Performance Center.
