Report: Identity Of Leatherface On AEW Dynamite Revealed

Who was under the mask as Leatherface on AEW Dynamite? Find out below!

All Elite Wrestling featured another crossover on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite as Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy faced off in a Texas Chain Saw Massacre Deathmatch as part of Warner Bros. Discovery's promotion of the video game based on the 1974 movie.

Alongside copious amounts of violence, the match featured the AEW debut of Leatherface, the cannibalistic mass murderer from the Texas Chain Saw Massacre franchise, as the chainsaw-wielding maniac ran down the ramp and first booted Sonjay Dutt before he chased a terrified Karen Jarrett to the back.

Unlike the movies, this Leatherface wasn't a member of the Sawyer family and Fightful Select has reported that Dean Alexander portrayed Leatherface on Dynamite. Alexander was a regular on AEW's YouTube shows Dark and Dark: Elevation between March 2021 and February 2023, often being booked as an enhancement talent. Alexander even faced the incredible team of Too Fast, Too Fuego alongside Kidd Bandit, suffering a loss to Fuego Del Sol and Fuego II.

Jeff Jarrett would win the Deathmatch on Dynamite, capturing the Texas Chain Saw Massacre Championship in the process. The sponsorship on Dynamite brought in $100,000 for AEW, which has since been donated to the Maui Food Bank.
