Report: Identity Of Some WWE WrestleMania Backlash Zombies Revealed

Who was a part of the army of the dead?

Even if you didn’t see WWE WrestleMania Backlash last night then you no doubt will have heard about the zombie lumberjacks at ringside for the Damian Priest/Miz bout.

Obviously this wasn’t a real horde of the undead but a stunt to promote the upcoming Army of the Dead movie starring Batista, and according to a report from Fightful Select the zombies in question were mainly WWE Performance Centre recruits.

Some of the names mentioned by Fightful include former CZW star Joe Gacy, Daniel Vidot, Jiro Kuroshio, Asher Hale, and Cal Bloom - sone of Wayne Bloom aka Beau Beverly of the Beverly Brothers. Several Twitter accounts have also claimed that former WWE Tag Champion Scotty 2 Hotty was amongst the undead as well.

Whilst the angle itself has divided wrestling fans - to put it politely - it has certainly ignited discussion and debate, after all this is the same company that promoted the Undertaker, and what was he if not a massive zombie. And who knows, this could end up being a ‘CM Punk on John Cena’s gangster car’ moment for some of the talent involved.
