WWE's Vince McMahon Hails Rob Van Dam As 'A Wonderful, Wonderful Human'

RVD was the subject of a recent WWE Icons episode

Vince McMahon has praised Rob Van Dam for his in-ring style and for his personality away from being a WWE Superstar.

McMahon was speaking as a part of the WWE Icons documentary on RVD, who was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as a member of the Class Of 2021 this year.

RVD held the WWE Championship, ECW Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Hardcore Championship, European Championship, and Tag Team Championshig during his WWE career, while also winning the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2006.

McMahon told WWE Icons about RVD: "As he grew physically and his style, it all grew. But his personality, it really started to grow, and the person on the inside started to come out, and the person on the inside is a wonderful, wonderful human being who loves to have fun, and you just wanna wrap your arms around him.

"There are very few Rob Van Dams – there’s only one. People love Rob, to this day. They love his style, they love the way he talks, the way he thought, and some people love him for his personal habits as well, but he’s one of a kind. So, we welcome Rob back and really privileged to put him in the Hall of Fame this year."
