Ilja Dragunov is still several months away from coming back to WWE. According to PWN, Dragunov is tentatively targeted to be back on Monday Night Raw in September.

Dragunov has been out of action since September 2024 with a torn ACL. Dragunov has not wrestled since a WWE house show in Columbus, Georgia on September 28 when he challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. The 31-year-old has been training at the WWE Performance Center in 2025 in preparation for his return to action.

Ilja Dragunov joined WWE in 2019, initially wrestling on the NXT UK brand where he served as NXT UK Champion from August 2021 until July 2022. Dragunov moved to NXT full-time after NXT UK shuttered and he quickly established himself as one of the brand's top stars, which included a 206-day reign as NXT Champion from September 2023 to April 2024.

Dragunov moved to the main roster following WrestleMania 40 and he impressed fans before his injury with matches against the likes of Bron Breakker and Ricochet.
