Report: Indy Content Being Pulled From WWE Network

No more indy content on WWE Network

New independent wrestling events will not be featured on the WWE Network on Peacock moving forward.

According to Fightful Select, WWE plan to stop adding independent wrestling content to the WWE Network on Peacock. If this change is exclusive to the United States is currently unknown. The WWE Network remains a standalone streaming platform outside of the USA, including in the United Kingdom.

Fightful noted that the promotions featured on the WWE Network already have plans in place to follow up. PROGRESS Wrestling, Insane Championship Wrestling, and wXw already have their own streaming services.

The likes of PROGRESS, ICW, and wXw have been featured on the WWE Network since August 2020. Concern over their future on the platform arose this week after it was noted on Peacock that ICW's content will expire within the next two days. Indy content has continued to be uploaded in recent days, with the latest entries being PROGRESS Wrestling's Unboxing Live V: Deal or no Deal? event and wXw We Love Wrestling #37.

EVOLVE Wrestling shows have also been featured on the WWE Network since WWE bought the promotion in 2020.
