Report: Internal Rumblings About Randy Orton's WWE Status

Randy Orton has been out of action from WWE for many months

It’s been over 10 months since we last saw Randy Orton in a WWE ring, with the multi-time world champion having been out injured with a back injury since May 2022.

Whilst Orton’s initial injury wasn’t believed to be too bad, ‘The Viper’ ended up going under the knife in November for lower back fusion surgery, and is still yet to return.

New photos of Orton recently floated around social media that showed the former Evolution member looking jacked, and a report from PWInsider Elite’s Mike Johnson states there’s been ‘rumblings’ about Orton within WWE for the last few weeks, after apparently not being discussed for some time.

There’s no word on what these rumblings are, nor if Orton is ready to return to action.

A first-ballot future WWE Hall of Famer, Orton’s last run came as part of the popular RK-Bro tag team with Matt Riddle. Many assumed Orton would eventually turn on Riddle, but Orton’s injury and Riddle’s subsequent stint in rehab have put such plans on the back burner.
