Report: January 3, 2025 Episode Of WWE SmackDown To Air On YouTube In The UK

WWE's deal with Netflix will officially begin from Monday Night Raw's premiere on the streaming service on January 6, 2025 with a show at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

Many of WWE's current international TV deals are set to expire at the end of 2024 due to all WWE programming in many territories moving to Netflix. This ultimately leaves the January 3, 2025 episode of SmackDown without a home.

Due to the first episode of SmackDown in 2025 falling through the cracks, the January 3 show will be airing on WWE's YouTube channel in countries that will have the whole slate of WWE programming on Netflix from January 6, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio. This includes the United Kingdom.

WWE have already utilised this method in recent days, broadcasting Saturday Night's Main Event as an unlisted YouTube video outside of the United States.

From January 6, all of WWE's weekly programming and pay-per-views/premium live events will air on Netflix in the United Kingdom. Select pay-per-views from WWE's library will also be available on the service.
