Report: Very Few WWE PPVs & No WCW PPVs To Be Available On Netflix For At Least Several Months

The days of an extensive library of WWE content being available are set to be over from January 1, 2025.

All of WWE's weekly programming in Raw, SmackDown, and NXT as well as WWE premium live events/pay-per-views will be available on Netflix from the new year in many international territories, including the United Kingdom, while only Raw will air on Netflix in the United States.

Some of WWE's past pay-per-views have already been listed as 'coming soon' on the UK version of Netflix, including Judgment Day 2008, Elimination Chamber 2024, ECW December To Dismember, and Extreme Rules 2022. Only 40 past WWE pay-per-views will be on Netflix from January 1, though, with several more being added on February 7 before seven or eight more are added on March 31, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio. No shows from World Championship Wrestling or other promotions will be available on Netflix for at least four to five months, if at all.

"The answer is not much. There'll be all the current shows, obviously, will be on every single week. This is international, not United States, which will only be Raw. All the pay-per-views, everything is going to be on Netflix. As far as your archives, there will be some, but very little. When everything starts on January 1st, they’re going to have roughly 40 pay-per-views, will be the only thing up. Just intermittent, some recent, some from years ago," Meltzer said.

"There'll be no WCW, it's all WWE. No Mid-Atlantic, no Mid-South Wrestling, no World Class. None of that tape library stuff. People didn't really watch a lot of it [on the WWE Network] so that's what happened. There will be old episodes, some old episodes, of NXT, Raw, and SmackDown."

WWE content will move to Netflix as part of a 10-year deal worth $5 billion, a deal which will see the WWE Network shutter on December 31.

WWE Raw will premiere on Netflix on January 6, 2025 and WWE have major plans for the show according to reports, including an appearance from The Rock, Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk, and a Roman Reigns match.
