Report: The Rock Planned For WWE Raw Premiere On Netflix

The Rock will be making an appearance during the Monday Night Raw premiere on Netflix, according to a new report.

Dwayne Johnson has been absent from WWE programming since October's Bad Blood pay-per-view but WrestleVotes noted during a Backstage Pass Q&A that The Rock will be at the Netflix premiere of Raw on January 6, 2025. Shawn Michaels may also be making an appearance on the show.

"Are you counting Rock as a surprise or are you counting Cena as a surprise? I mean, they'll both be there. I wouldn't be surprised if Steve Austin showed up. I've heard that Shawn Michaels may make an appearance. Anybody that they have under a Legends deal that is healthy enough to be in Los Angeles, I would expect to be there," WrestleVotes said.

While The Rock will reportedly be at the WWE Raw premiere on Netflix, WWE are making plans for WrestleMania 41 as if Dwayne Johnson won't be available for the company's biggest show of the year. The Rock is not currently scheduled for a match at WrestleMania.

The WWE Raw premiere on Netflix will air from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California on January 6. You can buy tickets for the show now.
