Elijah Holyfield - the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield - made his WWE in-ring debut on Tuesday night ahead of the live taping of NXT from the WWE Performance Center.

Holyfield's debut took place as part of the upcoming WWE LFG reality series that is set to air on A&E. Holyfield faced off with Anthony Luke.

WWE LFG will debut on A&E in early 2025. The official synopsis for the show is as follows:

“The existing legends will mentor aspiring wrestlers as they compete in the ring with WWE contracts on the line. The series will also feature behind-the-scenes content of their training process.”

Elijah Holyfield signed with WWE earlier this year after taking part in WWE's tryouts over SummerSlam weekend. Holyfield is a former American football player and he played for the Georgia Bulldogs in college from 2016 until 2019. He went undrafted in 2019 but ended up on the practice squads of the Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Cincinnati Bengals before exiting the NFL in 2022.

When Holyfield is planned for his WWE NXT debut is unknown. The brand is set to finish up for 2024 on December 19.
