New Japan Pro-Wrestling's United Empire faction has a new member. It was announced by NJPW that Templario has joined the stable and he will be in action at Strong Style Evolved.

Templario - a star in CMLL - will replace HENARE at Strong Style Evolved and team with Jakob Austin Young against Hiromu Takahashi and Titan. Strong Style Evolved will emanate from Long Beach, California on Sunday, December 15.

HENARE was pulled from the show due to injury. The issue forced HENARE and Great-O-Khan to vacate the IWGP Tag Team Titles but O-Khan and a partner of his choosing will face The Young Bucks for the vacant belts at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5.

United Empire was formed in October 2020 by Will Ospreay and Great-O-Khan. Current members performing in New Japan include Great-O-Khan, Jeff Cobb, HENARE, TJP, Francesco Akira, Callum Newman, and Jakob Austin Young.

Other matches set for NJPW Strong Style Evolved include Mercedes Moné vs. Hazuki for the NJPW STRONG Women's Title, Gabe Kidd vs. Ryohei Oiwa for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship, and Grizzled Young Veterans vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew for the NJPW STRONG Tag Team Titles.

You can still still buy tickets for NJPW Strong Style Evolved.
