Darby Allin appeared at yesterday's AEW Countdown event to promote All In Texas in 2025, and spoke about wanting to plant an AEW flag at the summit of Mount Everest.

Allin has spoken before about his aim to climb the world's highest mountain, a trip which was initially called off due to injury. He now seeks to complete his goal next year:

"The cool thing with AEW is I can look at myself in the mirror and know exactly who I’m looking at. This company gives me so much. They let me do what I want to do out there in the ring in front of all of you, and they let me do what I want to do in my personal life. I am climbing Mount Everest in April, and I’m going to take that AEW flag and plant it on top of the goddamn world to remind everybody what AEW is capable of."

Darby also promoted next year's event in a very babyface, pro-AEW manner - something which suits his onscreen status as perhaps the main force combatting Jon Moxley's disruptive stable of heels.

"When I climb down from that mountain I’m coming to Globe Life Field, and as a whole, AEW as a family, we’re going to remind the world exactly what this company is capable of. Because it doesn’t happen with just us, it happens with every single one of you. We wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for you guys. So, thank you for coming out. Thank you for continuing to show the love. Globe Life Field, July 12th, is going to be very, very, very special, and we are not going to put on anything less than what you guys deserve," Darby added.

Sting also appeared afterwards and predicted that Darby would win the AEW World Championship 2025.
