Update On The Rock Not Being Planned For WrestleMania 41

The Rock and Cody Rhodes are still working together, even if they seemingly won't be facing each other at WWE WrestleMania 41.

Reports have noted that The Rock is not currently scheduled for WrestleMania and WWE are making plans as if he won't be available for the organisation's biggest show of 2025.

Fightful Select has further noted that WWE are putting together creative plans on the assumption The Rock won't be at WrestleMania, although there is a notion that anything with Dwayne Johnson is subject to change.

The Rock set up a match with Cody Rhodes on the Raw after WrestleMania 40 and Dwayne Johnson and the Undisputed WWE Champion reportedly "filmed something" at the premiere of Moana 2. The context of what was filmed is unknown, though.

The Rock's most recent WWE appearance came in the closing moments of October's Bad Blood pay-per-view when he signalled '1-2-3' to Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Jimmy Uso. The appearance, according to Fightful, was just designed to get The Rock on-screen and there was no major direction being furthered during the brief spot.
