Report: Jay White's IMPACT Wrestling Debut Was 'A Closely Guarded Secret' At Slammiversary 2021

Not even the internal run-sheets had him listed

IMPACT Slammiversary 2021 had a fair share of shocks and surprises throughout the event but perhaps none were as big as the debut in IMPACT Wrestling of Jay White.

The leader of the Bullet Club in NJPW confronted IMPACT World Champion Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers to close Saturday night's pay-per-view, teasing a huge confrontation between the two in the future.

The debut of the 28-year-old was a huge moment at the end of IMPACT's biggest show of the year, one that had successfully been kept quiet prior to the moment itself happening at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.

According to Fightful Select, White's impending debut in IMPACT was a closely guarded secret in the promotion, so much so that the information was kept strictly on a need-to-know basis within the company.

The report indicates that the internal run sheet for Slammiversary 2021 gave no indication of such a huge moment closing the event, instead only listing a pull apart brawl as the end to the show.
