3MB has resurfaced in the news recently for reasons that definitely run the gamut. Drew McIntyre won the WWE championship at WrestleMania 36 after defeating Brock Lesnar, while Heath Slater was unfortunately let go from the company in this week's round of talent cuts.

But what of the third member, former WWE champion Jinder Mahal? "The Modern Day Maharaja" last wrestled at a live event in Denver in mid-June of 2019, where he tore his patella tendon in a match against Mustafa Ali.

Mahal was seemingly due to return late in 2019, but he's yet to be re-introduced.

Chris Featherstone of Wrestling Rumors claims to have reached out to Mahal regarding his current status, and reports that the former champion says he is "cleared and waiting" for his return.

Shortly before his injury, Mahal was caught up in the 24/7 championship hijinks. He defeated R-Truth twice for the belt - once on a golf course, and again days later on an airport tarmac in Frankfurt, Germany, en route to Super ShowDown. In the latter case, Truth pinned a sleeping Mahal on board the plane to get the title back.
