Report: John Morrison Injured During WWE Raw

Morrison was in action against United States champion Riddle

John Morrison reportedly picked up a knee injury during his match this week on Monday Night Raw.

Morrison lost a non-title match against new United States champion Riddle on Monday, during which the former Tag Team title-holder took out his opponent with a spinning dive.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that, during his move, Morrison's leg got caught on the ropes which caused him to hit his knee on the floor when landing the move.

The 41-year-old was checked on by the referee and was noted to be limping for the remainder of the bout. The injury was incorporated into the match, as Riddle worked Morrison's knee, before the United States champion got the victory.

Morrison could also be seen limping when he appeared later in the show alongside WWE champion and tag-team partner The Miz, but there has been no word as to the severity of Morrison's injury or indeed if he will be required to miss any time in the ring.
