Sasha Banks Vs. Bianca Belair Confirmed For WWE WrestleMania 37

For the SmackDown Women's title

Though there seemed to be little doubt who 2021 women's Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair was going to challenge at WrestleMania 37, her choice was confirmed on Friday night's edition of SmackDown.

Belair selected SmackDown Women's champion Sasha Banks as her choice of opponent for WrestleMania. Before making the announcement official, Reginald interrupted Belair's announcement, telling her that if she selected Banks, she would not win.

Banks then came out and told Reginald not to speak for her. She then addressed Belair, calling her "second best". Belair responded by saying she would make Banks eat her words at WrestleMania, and affirmed Banks as her opponent of choice.

The match will be Belair's first on the main card of any WrestleMania (she previously competed in the women's battle royal during the Kickoff show of 34 in 2018). Banks has competed on the main card of every WrestleMania beginning with 32 (except for 34, where she wrestled in the same battle royal).

The updated card for WWE WrestleMania 37, taking place Saturday, April 10, and Sunday, April 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, is as follows:

* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Edge

* SmackDown Women's: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair
