Report: Jonathan Gresham In Talks With Tony Khan

ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham reportedly in discussions with AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan

ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham is reportedly in talks with Tony Khan, but it is yet unknown for what organisation.

With Khan owning both AEW and ROH then Gresham could realistically sign for either promotion, if not both, and a report from Fightful Select states that assets have been made for Gresham indicating he will plying his trade under Tony Khan’s umbrella, but no promotion has been set in stone as of yet.

Gresham won the original ROH World Title at Final Battle 2021, and was scheduled to face off against ROH Champion Bandido in a title unification match at the upcoming Supercard of Honor XV on April 1, but since Khan took control of the company all plans are up in the air.

With Gresham routinely defending the title across the indies and IMPACT since taking hold of it, then it would only make sense for him to defend it at ROH’s return event, with Gresham indicating in the past that he’d like to remain loyal to ROH until he no longer could.

It's also worth noting that Gresham has been spotted backstage at AEW tapings in the past, while AEW talent have wrestled for Gresham’s own TERMINUS promotion since its formation at the beginning of 2022.
