Report: Kenny Omega Vs. Hangman Page No Longer Set For AEW All Out

The wait for the dream match goes on

Fans will have to wait for the dream AEW World Championship Match between Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page, according to a new report.

After a long build, the match appeared to be set for the September 5 pay-per-view, but Hangman and Dark Order failed to defeat The Elite in a 10-man Elimination Match on Wednesday's Dynamite which meant they didn't earn shots at the world title and tag team title.

Now, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported the All Out main event match between Kenny Omega and Hangman Page has been scrapped. The match was originally planned for the pay-per-view but AEW has decided to change course.

Meltzer also noted the result of the 10-man Elimination Match was designed to shock AEW's audience. Many had expected Dark Order to win the match and punch their ticket to All Out.

There is no word on who Kenny Omega's new opponent at All Out will be.
