Report: Kevin Dunn Missing WWE Survivor Series WarGames Considered A "Big Deal"

No Kevin Dunn at WWE Survivor Series WarGames

Kevin Dunn is usually ever-present at WWE TV tapings due to his role as the line producer for the company's programming but he was absent from the November 26 Survivor Series WarGames pay-per-view, according to Fightful Select

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter later noted that Dunn was absent from the show because he was on vacation. His absence was considered a "pretty big deal" backstage at Survivor Series WarGames, though, with much talk noting Dunn's vacation could be related to WarGames being a Jim Crockett Promotions/World Championship Wrestling concept and Dunn having a different mentality to Triple H about using concepts from the company that was once WWE's rival.

There is no evidence, however, that Dunn took a vacation because of WarGames, Meltzer noted.

In Dunn's absence, Brian Fadem ran the company's TV production for Survivor Series WarGames. The show featured WarGames matches on the main roster for the first time ever, with the show opening and closing with bouts inside the structure.

Dunn has been a part of WWE since 1984 and along with being the line producer, he is the Chief of Global Television Distribution. Dunn was a close confidante of Vince McMahon during the former WWE regime.
