Report: Kevin Owens Officially Turns Babyface

Kevin Owens is officially a WWE babyface once more

In case it wasn't evident based on recent episodes of WWE Raw, Kevin Owens is officially back in the babyface camp.

According to PWInsider.com, Owens has been moved to the babyface side on the company's internal roster. It had been obvious for some time, but WWE still had him listed as a heel until this week.

On this week's episode of Raw, KO confronted Austin Theory after the Money in the Bank briefcase holder attacked Johnny Gargano (following Gargano's victory over Chad Gable).

Owens cut an impassioned promo and then slapped Theory, triggering a brawl which may have resulted in Theory sustaining a possible broken nose.

The direction for Kevin Owens has changed since Paul 'Triple H' Levesque has become head of WWE creative. On the August 8 episode of Raw, the former Universal Champion hit Ezekiel with an apron powerbomb, a move he hasn't used in years, before saying it was time to go back to being the 'Prizefighter' (following a barren spell as far as winning titles goes).

Owens also got his old entrance video back and began wearing his duct tape 'KO' tank top again. Of late he has begun a programme with Sami Zayn and The Usos, telling them to remind Roman Reigns that he owes him one.
