On Monday night, WWE announced a developmental talent had tested positive for coronavirus. The company subsequently cancelled Tuesday's TV tapings so all staff and talent could be tested and resumed production yesterday. While there were problems at the tapings, with one employee describing it as a "clusterf**k," the company did tape next week's edition of Monday Night Raw, two episodes of 205 Live, and next weekend's Main Event.
One Superstar who won't be on Raw next week is Kevin Owens as Fightful reported K.O pulled out of the tapings after finding out about the positive COVID-19 test. The report also noted that WWE has no issue with Owens going home and did not pressure him about appearing at future tapings. The next set of Raw tapings are scheduled for June 29.
The former Universal Champion recently returned to the red brand on May 18. He had been out of action since WrestleMania 36 with an ankle injury and wanted to spend some more time with his family during the ongoing pandemic. Since his return, he has been embroiled in the United States Championship picture with Apollo Crews, Angel Garza, and Andrade.
