Along with bringing back several released talents, Triple H has made changes to WWE NXT since he became head of creative and then Chief Content Officer in July of 2022 following Vince McMahon's retirement.

The developmental brand's logo was changed this week as WWE looked to combine the 2.0 and black-and-gold eras with a new white and gold emblem. The look of NXT's shows has not changed as of yet but Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the 2.0 production design will soon be scrapped.

A change has also taken place behind the scenes, and Meltzer noted that Ryan Katz has started back with NXT. Katz was a key figure during the black-and-gold brand era but he was released in January of 2022 along with other Triple H guys like William Regal and Samoa Joe.

Previous reports noted Katz had remained close to people within WWE following his release and his return was expected after the new regime was put in place.
