Johnny Gargano Comments On Candice LeRae's Pro Wrestling Future

Johnny Gargano recently returned to WWE as a member of the Monday Night Raw roster, having departed the company after his contract expired in December 2021. 

According to the former NXT Champion, the in-ring future of his wife and fellow wrestler Candice LeRae is currently uncertain. 

Asked about it during an appearance on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Gargano said: 

"I think she’s not sure yet. Obviously, this is a whole new adventure for her being a mom.

"And she's extremely happy being a mom. I don't know, it's one of those things where we'll see what happens on a weekly basis, but she is fully content staying at home with that baby. I obviously have realised my position in the house. I think it goes now Quill number one, Pawdme number two, and then I'm probably maybe a third on Candice’s love list right now.

"So I'll take the number three spot. I'm four in my household, to be fair. It's Quill, Pawdme, Candice, me. But yeah, I think she's just very, very happy to be a mom, enjoying it to her extent. Like I said, you never know what happens when he gets older, obviously, but for right now, especially the first bit of his life. She is very, very happy to be with that little dude right now".

He added that while wrestling is Candice's first love, having a child has changed her perspective. 

LeRae last wrestled at NXT Great American Bash on July 6, 2021. She subsequently made a few more non-wrestling appearances on NXT television, before going on maternity leave. 

The former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion remained under contract with the company until her deal expired in May of this year.
