While WWE NXT is usually live, the developmental brand taped the September 20 and September 27 episodes this week.
A former NXT UK Champion made his return during the tapings and the main event was set for the upcoming Halloween Havoc show that will reportedly take place on October 22.

September 20:
- Nathan Frazer def. Axiom - Second match of their Best of Three series
- Toxic Attraction def. Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley
- The Schism cut a promo about Cameron Grimes which led to a match between The Dyad and Malik Blade and Edris Enofe.
- The Dyad def. Malik Blade & Edris Enofe
- Cora Jade def. Wendy Choo - Lash Legend attacked Choo after the match.
- Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams promo was interrupted by Chase U to set up an impromptu match.
- Andre Chase & Bodhi Hayward def. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams
- Von Wagner def. Sanga
- Oro Mensah def. Grayson Waller - Mensah picked up the win following interference from Apollo Crews.
- JD McDonagh def. Tyler Bate - Number one contender's match for the NXT Championship - After the match, McDonagh had a staredown with Bron Breakker before both men were interrupted by the returning Ilja Dragunov.
September 27:
- Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, & Jagger Reid def. Cameron Grimes
- Sol Ruca def. Amari Miller
- Nikkita Lyons def. Kayden Carter
- A promo segment with Ilja Dragunov, JD McDonagh, and Bron Breakker ended with Bron Breakker saying he has a 33 1/3 chance of beating them at Halloween Havoc to set up a Triple Threat for the NXT Championship on the show.
- Damon Kemp def. Brutus Creed - Finish was later reshot to end the match in a no contest after Kemp used a chair on Creed.
- Wes Lee def. Tony D'Angelo - D'Angelo suffered an injury during the match and had to be taken backstage by medical personnel.
